Online Class: Drawing with Color
Join us for an intimate online drawing class to deep-dive into the world of color. Throughout the class we will explore how Georgia O’Keeffe used color within her artwork and use this as inspiration to create your own drawings. The class will utilize different color theory exercises and practices from Arthur Wesley Dow’s book, Composition. The class will be 90 minutes in length and interactive. Led by local artist Liz Brindley.
Supplies needed for the class include a pencil or pen, paper and either colored pencils, crayons, oil pastels or pastels. This class is suitable for youth ages 12 and up. Children are welcome to participate alongside their adults.
Space is limited, reservations required.
This class will take place via the video conferencing app – ZOOM. Details for accessing the Zoom meeting will be with your receipt upon registering and again sent via email the day before the class. Please register in advance in order to access the program.

This class is being offered on a sliding scale.
$5; minimal fee.
$20; covers the cost of the class.
$30; covers the cost of the class, plus a contribution to provide an art kit to a community member in need.
